About Us
The coalition is founded on the belief that early childhood education is a critical economic enabler for the present and future, and, therefore, businesses have both a strong interest and responsibility to address it. The coalition will inform and advocate for State and Federal policies and programs to support the early childhood education needs of the Massachusetts workforce; identify opportunities for strategic action and investments to improve access, affordability, and program quality and stability; and explore employer best practices in supporting the early childhood education needs of employees. Recognizing the disproportionate impacts of early childhood access and program quality with communities of color and working women, the coalition will also support efforts to advance equitable child care solutions.
